Ocean View at the Dome has is looking to recruit a kitchen porter to join our team to work in one of Plymouth's most iconic buildings.
The Dome enjoys one of the best locations in Plymouth and the wider Southwest with stunning sea views situated on the centre of Plymouth Hoe.
Ocean View at the Dome is part of a small family run group of pubs, restaurants and hotels based in the Southwest - www.innsofcornwallanddevon.co.uk.
We operate a non-branded, individual style of operation for both food and drink. Ocean dining will serve food all day including lunches, high end afternoon teas and evening meals specialising in locally caught fresh fish sourced directly from local trawlers.
The responsibilities of the Kitchen Porter include:
- Wash crockery and utensils
- Daily clean of kitchen areas
- Deep clean of kitchen equipment
- Keep store areas neat and tidy
- Communicate effectively with staff
- Carefully handle crockery to minimise breakages
- Food preparation help if required by head chef
- Working in adherence with the Food Safety Policy to ensure safe food handling within the kitchen.
- Carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
