The Team
We are growing our Deliveroo Editions family at our London Editions sites, and we are looking for the right person to join our team.
Delivery-only kitchens have never been higher profile, or more valuable for improving service and selection for customers. The Role
The Site Assistant role covers many tasks across the Editions site. You will ensure that the site is clean and that our partners have clean small wares to use when they need them. You will support the wider operation of the site to ensure that our customers receive the best quality food as quickly as possible from our partners.
An important part of this role surrounds your ability to support in multiple areas when required to ensure the site performs to the expected standard. There is also the opportunity for further development within other aspects of the business.
Duties will include:
- Partner with the Site Manager and Assistant Manager to maintain and deliver high standards.
- Opening and closing responsibilities to ensure that the site is safe, secure, clean, maintained and supplies are replenished
- Ensure that the cleanliness of the site is maintained to a high standard by cleaning as you go throughout the shift and regular deep cleaning of multiple equipment throughout the week
- Keep the partners small wares clean and available for use throughout the shift via the pot wash
- Regular checks of the site with any safety or maintenance concerns flagged to the Management Team
- Run food, when required, from our partners to the dispatch area
- Help with the dispatching of orders to the riders
Requirements
- Trained to Food Safety l
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proactive and able to take initiatives
- First Aid training ideal (training provided if required)
- Fire Marshal training ideal (training provided if required)
- The right to work in the UK
