The Project Manager will work across the ‘King’s Health Partners Neurosciences’ and the ‘King’s Health Partners Diabetes, Endocrinology and Obesity’ clinical academic partnership programmes.
The role is suitable for those who have developed project management skills within healthcare, whether coming from a strategic, operational or academic background.
You should have demonstrable experience of delivering analytical, research or innovation projects and have significant influencing and persuasion skills to engage with the wide range of teams and stakeholders for the programme.
Experience of managing projects within an academic or research environment is desirable, along with strong analytical skills and an understanding of commercial development or innovation in research.
The Project Manager will be required to:
- Work with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams across our partner organisations to plan, test, and implement new ways of working and develop both short-term and long-term plans for specific projects, and supporting performance and improvement across the tripartite mission.
- Set up, manage and implement projects within the relevant programme, working closely with colleagues in the programme team, and clinical and academic colleagues
- Facilitate collaborative projects focused on innovation and building clinical academic collaboration and capacity
- Support the programme leadership in the development and maintenance of commercial relationships, seeking new and expanded opportunities for collaboration
- Ensure robust measurement, supporting the development of outcomes measures for the programmes.
- Construct analytical models to support the development of strategies for the programme, and lead on the testing and further development with clinical and academic teams to ensure robust outputs.
- Assist with analysis of complex data ensuring it is complete, consistent, comprehensive and traceable to support the programme.
- Contribute to the development of a business cases for funding, as appropriate, to either generate evidence or to roll-out proven interventions.
