At TTC Group we are the leading provider of road safety education and our Driver Risk Management division is a fast-growing business, offering a innovative range of driver training and risk management solutions to small and large organisations throughout the UK including blue chip businesses.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis in our commercial business tasked with driving and delivering our growth strategy. Reporting into our Sales Director your key focus will be on our key accounts, retaining existing customers, developing incremental revenue and winning new customers across a defined sector to support our ultimate goal to better protect people on the move.
The role:
- To drive the growth strategy. Build relationships that support sales growth in existing and new customers in the target sectors.
- To build a pipeline of prospective customers and opportunities with the capacity to over deliver against agreed sales targets.
- To demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of TTC business products, solutions, and value propositions. Use this knowledge to identify and map customer needs with TTC Solutions.
- To professionally demonstrate a deep knowledge of these solutions and apply their benefits to customer challenges.
- To demonstrate exceptional Commercial acumen through written business proposals, drafting and reviewing contracts, and negotiating with customers, and internal and external stakeholders.
- To introduce TTC thought leadership into current and prospective clients, to shape and influence perception of TTC.
- To work with and lead colleagues as part of a customer/bid pursuit team.
- Follow industry trends, and apply this to develop strategic customer relationships, and input to current and future solution development.
- Reporting on successes and areas in need of improvement
About you:
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Comfortable and effective across a breadth of relationships from C Suite to middle manager.
- To have, or quickly develop, an effective knowledge of our solutions. Sufficient to confidently, and knowledgeably communicate them, and their benefits, to internal and external audiences, including prospective customers and clients, partners, vendors, and press.
- To be highly commercially astute, capable of demonstrating a level of financial and business acumen appropriate to some of the UK’s biggest companies and organisations.
- A big-picture thinker, naturally inquisitive, keen to immerse themselves into the business of their customers. To understand their strategy, and how could TTC offer a real point of difference.
- This is a senior sales role, as such will be expected to demonstrate leadership, management, and mentoring skills across the sales organisation and beyond.
