Job description
The Key Account Manager will own a portfolio of customer accounts and be expected to develop a solid understanding of a customers’ business and sector. They will be expected to establish and maintain senior level contacts at the customer. By leveraging this knowledge and their relationships they will grow customer accounts by identifying and realising mutually beneficial value, helping achieve success for both the customer and Sopra.
What will the role involve?
- Engage with, and strengthen, existing and new relationships with customers at a senior level, leveraging Sopra senior management as appropriate.
- Expanding the relationships with existing customers by proposing solutions that meet their objectives and opening up opportunities with alternate divisions within a customer’s organisation.
- To identify competitors and understand their role in the customer's business
- Act as an ambassador for the customer within Sopra, developing the position of a trusted advisor/partner
- Providing a focal point for contact and act as an escalation point under agreed procedures
- Provide details of the capabilities and benefits of the software services provided by Sopra to customers, as well as how the services provided connect with the customer’s wider landscape.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in one of more of the following areas Account Management, Customer Success Management, Financial software sales, Financial Service industries (in particular, auto asset finance)
- Adept in building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Account management track record in high value application software and services in the financial markets
- Demonstrably capable of managing complex processes and converting new opportunities
- Experience of managing software contracts ideally within Financial services customers
- Ideally candidates would have worked and supported customers through digital transformations.
