An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as Key Account Manager within the Key Account Management (KAM) team as we look to expand the customer group.
You will be responsible for proactively managing some of our most engaged customers across all SB&G products to offer a best-in-class service whilst ensuring they are gambling safely and affordably at all times.
The KAM team operates as part of the wider Customer Due Diligence & Safer Gambling Operations department, highlighting the significant level of focus that is placed on managing safer gambling, affordability and funding risks as part of the role, in addition to providing an enhanced level of customer service.
Your role in ‘better’
You will…
Develop, grow and maintain strong relationships with some of our most important customers, alongside building and maintaining a knowledgebase on all customers in your base, ensuring both the business & customers are protected from any safer gambling, financial & regulatory risks.
Closely monitor customer activity/behaviours and offer ongoing support to ensure that they are gambling safely & sustainably at all times.
Work closely with various internal stakeholders across Risk, Safer Gambling, Trading and AML & Compliance teams to ensure customer risk is effectively managed and communicated.
Be prepared to undertake often difficult conversations with customers regarding their gambling and/or funding source/affordability.
Be available for travel, sometimes at short notice.
How you’ll create ‘better’
You will have…
A strong understanding of both sports betting and online gaming.
A strong desire to provide a best-in-class experience to customers whilst employing a safer gambling mentality at all times.
Exceptional organisation, communication (both written and verbal), planning and prioritisation skills, with strong attention to detail.
A confident, outgoing and mature personality.
An understanding of AML/CDD/KYC regulations within the regulated financial sector, along with some knowledge of current gambling legislation, would also be advantageous.
Working 37.5 hours per week, predominantly 09:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday, although there will be an expectation of some occasional out of hours and weekend work based on customer and business requirements
