We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager to join us in our ICS Key Accounts department in our West Bromwich location, where you will have overall responsibility for the retention and development of an existing customer base.
The Key Account Manager for our Independent Care System Site in West Bromwich will be required to provide regional sales leadership that drives and delivers profitable growth, sales effectiveness, and business performance in line with Business Unit strategy and ELIS Group initiatives and values. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain and expand relationships with major accounts whom have a strategic focus towards the ICS industry.
Take full ownership for the retention and development (growth) of existing and dedicated key customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Deliver new business from targeted key account prospects, through effective and innovative commercial management, ensuring contractual obligations are met and accounts are pro-actively developed in cooperation with the operational team.
Leadership
- Implement and execute the overall strategy for ICS and set long and short term sales strategies for an assigned country/region.
- Perform and lead customers efficiently and effectively under high pressure situations and deadlines
- Drive a strong technical solution sales approach towards your customers solving their needs pains
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
Strategy & management
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
- Anticipating key account changes and improvements
- Managing communications between key clients and internal teams
- Negotiating contracts with client and establishing timeline of performance
- Collaborating with sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling
- Ensure the achievement of objectives / targets measured via defined KPIs
- Represent ICS within the local country key account management networks
Sales & Key Account management
Create and manage a Key Account Plan incl. defined annual KPI’s for responsible and targeted (inter)national customers
Develop and Coordinate potential and existing pan-European customers whom have their Headquarters in your country
Pro-actively identify and develop new and different business opportunities to provide increased sales at existing accounts
Identify and develop new products and service opportunities with identified key target channels in alignment with Sales manager
Maintain up to date with all industry trends, issues and news
Consult, train and implement concepts and products at End User facilities
Train, teach and inspire our customers on different decision levels in the sales process. (Operator, Production manager, HSE, QA manager, procurement etc.)
Work closely with BU Product Development and marketing department to develop, promote and create new solutions and products fostering profitable growth
Implement and execute the marketing campaigns / programs
Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives

Education/Experience
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the field or related organisation
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
