Job Overview:
We are looking to add to our existing great team by recruiting a junior to mid-weight interior designer with at least 2+ years, London based, high-end residential interior design experience. The role is really hands on where you will gain a huge amount of experience assisting two interior designers and our Head of Architectural Design as well as the opportunity to grow and take the lead on certain elements of projects.
You will be creative, very organised, an excellent communicator, have great attention to detail, have excellent IT skills and enjoy taking care in ensuring your work is done to the highest standard. You will take enormous pride in creating the most beautiful and lasting homes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assisting team with FFE
- Procurement of FFE items which will involve negotiating, ordering, recording, tracking and managing whole process
- Daily use of EstiPC to record and organise the above procurement process
- Ideally some photoshop work and drawings
- Understanding drawings and adding creative ideas
- Sourcing of samples and creation of mood boards
- General office and meeting skills
- Excellent computer skills
Skills, Knowledge, Attributes and Experience
Essential:
- Degree educated and preferably with interior design qualifications
- 2+ years experience in high-end residential interior design
- Ideally a working knowledge of AutoCAD and EstiPC. If you haven’t yet used EstiPC, then a keen desire to learn EstiPC quickly and proficiently.
- Strong IT and admin skills using Microsoft packages
- Photoshop not essential but an advantage
- Strong communication skills, oral and written (fluent English will be required)
- Attention to detail
- Be enthusiastic; professional; hard working; reliable and organised in your approach
- Possess a ‘can do attitude’
- Strong natural creative flair
- Experience in creating mood boards and sourcing
- Possess the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines whilst working collaboratively
- Excellent reference will be required
