British Airways has an exciting opportunity for you to join our Global Sales Team as a Key Account Manager based in the UK.
This is an important role within Global Sales and the successful candidate will have revenue responsibility for some of our largest Global Travel Management Companies (TMCs). You will engage with and influence key players within the travel industry. The roles involve working alongside joint business partners from Iberia, American Airlines, Qatar and Japan Airlines, aligning a cohesive strategy and mutually agreed objectives.
The successful individual will have a positive attitude, good interpersonal skills and an ability to engage in an inclusive and respectful working environment. We are looking for someone with a confident, driven demeanor who also has extensive sales experience. Advanced negotiation, communication and influencing skills are key, alongside a digital mindset and the ability to achieve revenue targets and inspire change in a self-directed, fast-paced environment.
Key duties to include:
- Delivering revenue by understanding customer needs and matching to relevant products
- Analysing data and using insights to drive revenue generation
- Conducting high touch performance reviews to drive deal performance and strategy
- Negotiation of Sales and Marketing agreements and implementation of activities
- Sourcing new business opportunities
- Upselling opportunities to existing customer base
- Delivering face to face and digital conferencing/training
- Representation for BA/IB and collaboration with joint partners
