We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible, driven, self employed kennel assistant and day care helper to join our rapidly expanding business. You will be expected to work along side a husband and wife team and be both a leader and a team player with high standards in all that you do. We already have an outstanding team and we need another team player.

You will need to be flexible and willing to work as and when required as the business grows. At the moment this position is for flexible 7 days including weekends and bank holidays. Starting at 7am daily
You will be willing to work in all weathers and be physically fit to lift, carry, bend, clean and walk for a minimum of 2 to 3 hours a day .You must be a good time keeper. Common sense is a must.
Your main role is feeding, cleaning out kennels, dog areas, preparing food and working with others to maintain the high standards we have set. You will also be supervising dogs on our open play paddock, ensuring the well being, safety and happiness of the dogs within your care.
You will also be responsible for the cleanliness of the kennels and dog areas which you may have to clean, present and turn around for dogs coming and going. Your cleaning skills must be outstanding and exceed all expectations. If you don't like cleaning up dog mess and don't know how to tackle it then please don't apply. This is a hands on position.
You will be out going, sociable confident and experienced in customer facing service. You will be at ease with responsibility and making decisions. You must be able to drive to commute to us by car as we are rural and not on a bus route.
For this role:
YOU MUST DRIVE, as we are not accessible by public transport.
YOU MUST LIVE NO MORE THAN 20- 25 MIN AWAY FROM US
We are looking for a highly capable, highly competent individual that is at ease with all breeds of dogs. The qualifications are desirable, but not essential as training will be provided. Common sense is preferred to qualifications.
You will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar setting to include day care and kennels.
You will ideally hold a professional qualification with a minimum level of OFQUAL Level 2 in a related subject such as Animal Care or Dog Care, ideally Level 3.
Ideally hold a Canine First Aid qualification, but this is not essential.
The job is highly rewarding, but it also has a serious side to it. You will be expected to adhere to all training, health and safety and animal welfare procedures.
You must have experience of controlling groups of dogs whilst playing. You must be highly competent in supervising all types of dogs providing various levels of care compassion and welfare to ensure their happiness and well being.
This is a Minimum Wage position according to age
You will live within the Warrington/Lymm and surrounding areas ONLY.
