Job description

An opportunity has become available for a kennel assistant in our 5 star boarding kennels.

Application requirements

Minimum of a level 2 in animal care required, Level 3 preferred

Customer service skills

The ability to work on own initiative

The ability to work on your own but importantly within a team

Friendly, approachable and willing to learn

Daily tasks include;

Deep cleaning all kennels

Animal heath checks

Meal Preparation

Dog Walking

Bath and light grooming of dogs

Cleaning to a clinical standard in all communal areas

Reporting to an on shift supervisor

Adhoc duties required at the supervisors discretion.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 18 per week

Salary: £7.50-£12.00 per hour
