Five Star Boarding Kennels
- We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual with a strong understanding of animal welfare and behaviour to join our small team
- A relevant Level 3 qualification in the animal industry is preferable but not essential
- Previous experience working with dogs is essential
- Staff must provide the highest level of care and welfare to all animals, be able to identify both positive and negative behavioural indicators and act accordingly, understand the needs of individual animals, and be comfortable working alone and in a team
- Candidates must be confident; handling a wide range of breeds, grouping dogs approptiately, handling and walking large groups
- Duties include but are not limited to – dog walking and care, cleaning and general maintenance, customer service, feeding and administering medication
- Candidates must live within a 30 min commute due to nature of job
- Staff are required to work some weekends, bank holidays and school holidays.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24-32 per week
Salary: £6.90-£9.50 per hour
