About us
Moss Cottage Kennels & Cattery is a small family business in Sale. We are seeking an experienced member of staff full time to join our team. Someone who can use their initiative but also be a team player. Someone who is confident handling dogs and cats. Someone who is experienced in this line of work.
We are looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our team and provide excellent care for our canine and feline guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for feeding, exercising, and providing general care for the animals in our kennel. They will also be responsible for cleaning the kennel and cat area, monitoring the health of the animals, and providing basic grooming services. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain the kennel /cat pen and its surroundings.
- Feed and provide water to animals in the kennel /cat pen.
- Provide basic grooming services to animals.
- Monitor the health of animals in the kennel /cat pen
- Administer medications as prescribed by a veterinarian.
- Provide companionship to animals in the kennel.
- Keep records of animal intake, health, and behaviour.
Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
