We are looking for an energetic, hard working individual to help with the day to day running of our boarding kennels and cattery.
Duties include cleaning the kennels and cattery, ensuring a good standard of cleanliness. Caring for all dogs and cats boarded with us. Feeding of dogs and cats. Speaking with customers both face to face and over the phone. General maintenance work , including keeping the grounds tidy and painting. Also undertaking any other reasonable duties as required. You may be required to undertake regular weekend work and sometimes early mornings in order to ensure the animals get the best possible care.
You will need to have a genuine passion for animals and be committed to promoting their care and welfare. You should be good at working in a team but equally be able to work well on your own. You will need to be able to communicate well with both owners, members of the public and your colleagues. This job is physically demanding and involves working outside at all times of the year, so you will need to be physically fit and active, confident to handle large and strong breeds of dogs. Own transport is recommended.
Salary: £8.00-£10.50 per hour
