Job description
Role Summary
The KDN People & Enablement Team underpins our overall People strategy and vision and provides both advisory and operational People support to our business across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, People Technology & Data Management, as well as People Engagement & Communications.
The team is supported by a People Operations function that provides offshore services to a global network of KDN Professionals.
The purpose of the KDN Global Mobility Manager role is to manage the KDN's global mobility strategy, as well as the design, roll-out, delivery and execution of the KDN Global Mobility Program.
The KDN Global Mobility Manger will also provide important tax compliance advice and guidance on the structuring of international assignments, as well as support with the global tax compliance management of the KDN's wider secondee population, both international and internal.
How you will make your mark
- Manage the KDN's global mobility strategy, as well as the design, roll-out, delivery and execution of the KDN Global Mobility Program
- Manage the day-to-day global coordination of the KDN Global Mobility program once live
- Draft and review global mobility documentation, such as terms and conditions letters, cost sharing agreements, etc.
- Manage tax compliance processes for international assignees, including the preparation and review of tax returns, tax projections, tax equalizations, and international assignment cost projections
- Advise on various mobility related issues, such as international business travel (IBT) and cross-border remote working arrangements, and support with mitigating these
- Advise on and obtain advice on the personal tax and social security contribution aspects of international assignments and business travel
- Prepare written tax advice for business leaders
- Provide immigration advice and guidance, and ensure and promote compliance
- Assist on advising on permanent establishment and structuring issues and promote adherence to KPMG policies and professional standards
- Request advice on tax residence and permanent establishments from member firms or external advisers in collaboration with our KDN In-house Tax Team
- Support with the management and updating of databases and internal trackers, as required
- Support with tax research and provide up-to-date information on relevant tax developments to business leaders
- Actively participate in team meetings and provide support to colleagues and team members
- Support with ad-hoc people projects
This is the job for you if you have:
- Degree or equivalent diploma, preferably in a business discipline
- Recognized tax qualification, would be preferred
- Strong experience working in expatriate tax services and global mobility
- Proactive, resourceful and confident, comfortable and happy to work with a changing brief
- Experience of prioritizing work based on requirements of multiple stakeholders
- A strong ability for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Digital savvy
- Excellent command of the English language both written and verbal
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Enjoy delivering as part of a team
