Hello!
We are super excited to be recruiting for a talented Chef De Partie ready to make the step up or solid Sous Chef to take the helm at our new venue at the ESF located in the omni centre.
Covid hit us all pretty bad but rather than drink ourselves into a blunder we decided to create a little recipe website together - wearejunk.co.uk. A combination of our fine dining backgrounds and infatuation for all things not good for you. We’re not your average Junk. 2 years later: 100+ recipes published; a fully booked summer of street food and crowned Champions at The Scottish, British & European Street Food Awards.
We really believe food is the heart of bringing people together so expect to have plentiful plates to share with friends and family and lots of quirky beverages to match. Music has taken up a great portion of our lives and we really want to integrate that into the scene. Great drinks, great food, class music - what more could you want?
We are looking for a confident chef that is passionate, hard working, quick & efficient, and of course have great banter. Experience in a similar role is preferred but if you have a great attitude and eagerness to learn then we will of course consider you!
You will be working with a Strong Head Chef with extensive background in fine dining. There is always room for expansion within the company as well as opportunity to take part in the street food awards next year
