Key Responsibilities:
Website Development: Assist in the creation and maintenance of company websites.
Collaborate with the web development team to design and implement website features and functionality.
Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and up-to-date.
Content Management: Upload and manage website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements.
Troubleshoot and resolve content-related issues promptly.
IT Support: Provide first-line technical support to employees for hardware and software-related issues.
Assist in setting up and configuring computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve common IT problems, such as connectivity issues, software installations, and email problems.
System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and security of IT systems.
Assist in software updates and patches as required.
Monitor and report on system performance and security.
Documentation:Create and maintain documentation for website development processes and IT support procedures.
Document and track support requests, resolutions, and escalations.
Training: Provide basic training to employees on IT tools and best practices.
Assist in onboarding new employees with their IT needs.
Collaboration: Collaborate with senior web developers and IT professionals to learn and grow your skills.
Assist in cross-functional projects that involve web development and IT support.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems (CMS).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for providing IT support to non-technical staff.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Prior experience or relevant coursework in web development or IT support is a plus.
