Job Title: Junior Technical Implementation Analyst
An exciting position has arisen for a Junior Technical Implementation Analyst to join the CDS Implementation team, primarily working on the industry leading CODAS application. CODAS is a complete end to end ERP system designed to assist with the day-to-day running of an Energy and/or LPG business. More information can be found on www.codas.com.
Key Responsibilities:
· Data migrations
· Technical setup and configuration of solutions for existing customers
· 3rd line support
In addition, all teams within CDS are required to be flexible and adaptable to allow for the changing workload within the company. The Implementation team may be asked to take on other tasks when required and appropriate, including but not limited to:
· 1st and 2nd line support
· Technical Analysis
· QA
This role will require out of hours work, occasionally at weekends. These will normally be scheduled well in advance and allow flexibility on timing however some of the most critical will require weekend work on the first / late weekend of the month. Out of hours work will be appropriately compensated.
A period of acclimatisation and training will be necessary, all of which will be provided for the successful applicant.
Successful candidates must demonstrate flexibility and eagerness to adjust working hours and patterns to meet the needs of our customers and always see issues through to completion.
This role may require occasional travel to client sites during implementations, including the possibility of trips abroad (within Europe) which could last several days at a time.
Essential requirements for the role:
· Strong sense of ownership and ability to follow tasks through to completion
· Experience communicating and managing external clients
· Flexibility to meet fluctuating business demand
· Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
· Proactive and flexible outlook
· Willingness to work out of hours, including weekends
Desirable requirements for the role:
· Experience of InterSystems Caché programming language
· Knowledge of C# programming language
· An understanding of JavaScript
· Ability to interpret XML/JSON requests
