More about your role
The role of a Junior Surveyor provides technical, costing and quality support to the operational landlord team and managing agents, being the key link between customers and the landlord to ensure that homes are compliant, well maintained, and desirable to customers.
You will be working alongside two surveyors, operations management, and the technical team to support the success of Places for People.
You will be responsible for site inspections, property inspections, contractor reviews and Health and Safety inspections to name just a few of the responsibilities the role includes. Every week is different, and you will be required to travel throughout England and Scotland.

This role provides a great progression opportunity for an individual who is currently working in the Trade/construction industry and is looking for their next challenge and someone is wanting to work at more senior level within the industry.
You will often work independently, and you will need to be able to over come a challenge and provide a solution. You will be surrounded by a supportive team who you can reach out to for support at any point, when necessary, you will also have weekly check ins with a member of the leadership team.
No qualifications are necessary however we require you to have a strong trades/construction background, a great a communicator and a team player.
