We’re excited to launch a next intake of Junior Software Engineers on our Talent Academy. As part of our Tech Accelerator programme, you’ll get the opportunity to work across agile tech teams to develop first class software engineering solutions to deliver the absolute best for our customers (and you’ll get a qualification along the way).
About the Tech Accelerator programme
It's 2-year programme kick started with a 12-week software developer bootcamp to get you off to the best beginning. During the rest of your programme, you'll rotate through four different tech teams and be fully supported with a fully funded route through your Level 4 Software Developer qualification. As part of our wider Talent Academy Community, you’ll also get access to additional development, networking and socials.
- Works in our tech teams to deliver features that add value to our customers
- Advocates simplicity to solve complex problems
- Understands how our customers interact with our products
- Works with agile methodologies and lean thinking methods
- Presents findings and makes recommendations to improve business performance
- Contributes to Comparethemarket by sharing knowledge, collaborating with ideas, and findings

You’ll:
- Show enthusiasm with a proactive approach and self-motivation
- Take control of your own career development through self-directed learning both within your technical and professional areas of expertise
- Possess excellent communication skills with the drive to contribute to a team
- Be naturally inquisitive with creative problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate a true passion for technology & coding
- Have Maths and English Language GCSE's Grades A*-C / 4-9 or equivalent, or be willing to work towards functional skills
- Not hold a similar qualification at the same level or higher (Level 4 / Degree) within the same sector
- Be legally allowed to work in the UK and been a UK resident for the last 3 years as a minimum
- Be over the age of 18 at 24-May-2023
