The Role
We are looking to hire a Junior Software Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will work within a squad of backend and frontend developers to test, engineer and deliver high-quality software.
The Junior Software Engineer will work closely with senior engineers to further develop their fundamental skills and practice the software delivery lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Engineering precise, clean, testable, object-oriented code.
- Building responsive, immersive web-based applications with HTML, CSS and Javascript (both internal and customer facing).
- Architect, design and implement beautiful, testable and scalable PHP code.
- Involvement in the full development lifecycle.
- Instilling greatness in our code and practices.
- Always be on the bleeding edge - integrating 3rd party APIs, deploying real-time applications.
Skills and Experience
- Experience using the Laravel framework
- Fundamental understanding of OOP
- Fundamental knowledge of HTML, Javascript & CSS
