Junior Software Developer
Shrewsbury - Remote
Salary: £23,000
Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.30pm i.e. 37.5 hours per week.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Greenhous Software Development team to work on our in-house bespoke systems. This vacancy is for a remote working Junior Software Developer able to commute to attend monthly team meetings at Greenhous Shrewsbury dealership, plus other meetings as required.
This is a great opportunity to work in a new team and be part of an internal software house for an ever-growing business. You will have the opportunity to work on developing new features for the existing applications. What you will be doing
As part of our existing team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and testing bespoke software applications that help Greenhous to be more efficient and provide better service to our staff and customers.
Essential Skills
- Completed formal computer science education at level 3 or above
- A passion for software development with the ability and willingness to learn new languages & frameworks
- Ability to work both in a team and independently, self-driven and motivated
- Ability to analyse user requirements
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve and overcome development hurdles using online forums and documentation
- Reliable and organised
- Career motivation and a willingness to continue to further your knowledge and skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with the following development languages/cloud services/frameworksC#, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS
AngularJS, Vue.js, .Net
Microsoft Azure
Twitter Bootstrap
- Work placement/industrial experience
*Whilst this role is remote you would be required to attend monthly meetings and therefore be based within a commutable distance
