Junior Shipping Clerk – London
We are looking for an individual to work within the Operation Coordination Department for a leading shipping company.
Duties will include:
- To maintain services' long term / short term schedule and operation prospect under EMU's jurisdiction
- To monitor all EMU vessels schedule and sending out Sailing Instructions.
- Filing management of all agreements relating to terminals, ports, stevedoring company, Towage Company, etc., and preparing any related recommendations for Top Management approval
- Assisting for negotiating, signing and monitoring the agreements with terminals, stevedoring and towage, companies etc. under EMU's jurisdiction
- All EMU charter vessels' charter hire and related invoices process
- Charter vessel and chartering market report information collection and filing
- Preparation and organization for any OCD visitors
- Cash advance to master for vessels under joint venture with X-press.
- Prepare and send charterer’s advice to master (joint service with XCL) before chartering
- Any other related business mentioned above or ask by direct mangers
The successful candidate will be:
- Legal right to work in UK.
- Good IT, organization, and communication skills.
- Good shipping knowledge with general geographical awareness.
- To be honest, responsible and punctual, to be able to work on your own initiative as well as to be a great team worker.
