Reporting into the Savings Analyst Manager, the Junior Savings Analyst will be responsible for calculating the Business Rates savings, managing savings queries and applying alterations and refunds for our UK Property Tax business unit. This is predominantly a remote role, with the flexibility to attend our office based in Manchester when required. This is initially a fixed term role to be reviewed in January 2025.
Key Responsibilities:

Following completion of a job by a Surveyor, calculate Business Rates savings generated and ensure that the correct invoice is raised in line with the signed agreement.

Gather and analyse information on properties.

Assist the collections team with invoice dispute queries.

Liaise with the Valuation Office Agency and local billing authorities to ensure they correctly apply alterations and refunds due to the occupier.

Complete and deliver weekly surveyor performance documentation
Key Qualifications:
-
1-2 years experience within an office environment is advantageous, but not essential

Bachelor’s degree (Real Estate, Mathematics, Physics, Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field preferred, but not required)

High level of attention to detail

Strong analytical skills

Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
