Job brief
We are looking for a sales representative to drive growth of our managed IT services business.
This is a junior sales role in a growing company with fantastic opportunities to develop. Ultimately, this role is about seeking potential customers and starting conversations with a view to gaining new clients.
How you research clients and reach out to them will be up to you. Phone / eMail / LinkedIn / Networking, etc. You will have the support of the Commercial Manager and Head of IT, and to a certain extent from our Marketing team. Success is measured by initiating client engagements, building a pipeline of opportunities and ultimately, closing contracts.

Normal place of work: Munnelly House, Harrow. Hybrid working pattern to suit the business needs and to be agreed with line manager.
Post Reports to: Commercial Manager
Permanent Contract. A 6-month probationary period applies
Normal Working hours: 0800-1700 Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
Sales Representatives are instrumental in driving the growth of our business. Responsibilities include:
- Develop, plan and implement sales strategy in partnership with Commercial Manager
- Identifying and contacting prospective clients via phone / social media / networking, etc
- Working with internal marketing team to increase inbound enquiries
- Promote value through customer experience
- Delivering against agreed revenue targets
- Updating our CRM to ensure accurate record keeping & pipeline management
- Being enthusiastic about helping customers and solving their problems
Experience and skills
Sales Representatives promote our brand and services ethically and with determination and ingenuity.
This is a vital role in the business and pivotal to the success of our IT managed services division.
They need the following skills:
- Ideally, work experience as a Sales Representative or similar role
- Experience working with brand and promoting value through customer experience
- Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships
- Appropriate level of technical knowledge to discuss / present IT services
- Strong networking skills to build relationships with prospective clients
- Accountability and personal organization are essential
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent telephone / web conferencing manner
- Composed manner and able to think on one’s feet
- Ability to build and maintain working relationships, and to work without continuous supervision
A good Sales Representative thrives on building new relationships and is a master of identifying customer challenges and presenting solutions.
This role involves occasional travel to company sites, events, etc. The job holder will therefore need to be in possession of a full, clean driving licence.

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
