THE GIG
The primary responsibility of the Junior Retail Project Manager – Store Construction is to provide support for the programme of multiple new store , office , showrooms and Shop-in shop projects as well as refits in the Construction Department.

Project Support
- Coordination and liaison with design and vendors for delivery of fixtures and fittings supplied for each project against programme of works
- Financial support
- Tracking budgets during quote/tender and construction stages
- Processing Purchase Orders, invoices and submitting to the Finance Department for payment with the assistance of the Retail administrator.
- Manage costs for all projects & Compile Tender Packs when required
- Managing payments and invoices with Direct Suppliers
- Project administration
- Provide assistance in the creation of the Health & Safety files – Managing As Built drawings and Operational & Maintenance Manuals
- Ensuring that our External Project Managers, All Suppliers and Architects, are working together to ensure the projects are completed in a timely manner
- Work with our external consultants to gain accurate information on fire strategy and asbestos in the locations we are planning to lease.
- Work with our CCTV, intruder alarm provider and other suppliers (direct orders) to provide store drawings and quotes for approval.
- Documentation
- Maintain the Construction Project Schedule for Stores , Offices , showrooms and & Shop in Shop’s
- Maintain the database of drawings, pictures and all files against each site
- Handle formal agreements between consultants, suppliers and contractors
- Maintain compliance under guidance of H&S standards & Building Regulations in accordance to relevant region
- Manging small works from estimations through to execution.
- Manage Handover protocols and communicate all information to relevant parties, meter readings, Snagging reports etc
- Create a store Briefing document for each project
- Managing final accounts
- General Administration
- Take responsibility for any ad hoc work required for the smooth running of the Construction Department
- Uploading all documentation onto all required platforms e.g. Onedrive, Networks Drive, Hub
Project Management
- Daily programme management throughout the programme life cycle
- Overseeing the progress of multiple projects across Europe to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner and within budget in particular using external support where appropriate
- In conjunction with Store Construction Manager review and maintain processes to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Analyse projects to see where risks could occur and taking any necessary action to reduce the likelihood that they could occur.
- Ability to react to arising issues quickly by analysing them with the Project Managers and finding a way to resolve them
- Coordinating the projects and their independencies
- Managing Stakeholders communication and Keeping internal Departments informed of the store fit out progress so they are prepared to act when required.
- Ensure each project has a fit out programme and manage during the course of it all stages of fit-out where required
- Ensure that all project schedules documentation is kept up to date and effectively communicated
- Ensure the fit out contracts are created and completed
- Conduct site-visits where and when required – snagging, walkthroughs
- Managing the Shop in Shop process from design brief through to full execution
- Managing final year budgets against each project
- Project management of small projects, and showrooms leading onto larger projects New Stores, refits, relocations and closures.
- Main point of contact for Shop in Shop’s
- Coordination of all suppliers for all projects (Store builds, Closures, Showrooms and Offices, other Projects)
- Management Design Sign Off Meetings & Compiling feedback
- Management of any Marketing Assets Work with the Marketing team to ensure that the proposed marketing assets are supplied on time, approved and adhere to Retail Design Guidelines
- Coordination of deliveries and installation across all supplies
