Job description
The Company
Smart Display specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of exhibition stands for our clients at live events across the UK and Europe. We pride ourselves on delivering creative solutions that deliver impact and results! We are very proud of our workmanship and strive to deliver the very best experience for all of our clients, old and new.
The Role
As our client base continues to expand and we find ourselves working on increasingly larger and more exciting projects, we are seeking to add a Junior Project Manager to the team based at our Brighouse premises.
You will play a key role in the delivery of each live project from point of order through to client handover onsite. Working as part of a team and reporting to the Production Manager, you will regularly liaise with clients, suppliers and event organisers to ensure a smooth and successful delivery of our client’s exhibition stands at venues around the UK and Europe.
Full, on the job training will be given and you will learn every aspect of this demanding but exciting industry with a clear path set for future promotion to Project Manager.
The Ideal Candidate
This role would suit someone with some experience in the exhibitions, signage, print or shopfitting industries, however we would also consider applicants who are recent graduates with a strong events management degree or those with project management experience in a different industry.
You should be organised, hardworking, confident, and hungry to learn.
The exhibition industry can be challenging but very rewarding, you will work closely with clients from all kinds of industries, build fantastic relationships and take great pride in delivering finished projects to happy clients.
At Smart Display, we pride ourselves on our relationships with our clients and this should also be your focus, building strong and lasting bonds with the clients you are working with.
Due to the fast-paced nature of the industry, you should be confident under pressure, dynamic in your attitude to the tasks at hand and approach each project with a keen eye for detail. You should also be a practical person, happy to get ‘hands-on’ when required and willing to travel around the UK and overseas.
A full UK driving licence is essential for this position. No agencies please.
