Within Saga Travel Group Technology team we are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and self-motivated Junior Project Manager to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This presents as an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration, coordination and stakeholder management experience. This is a new role and that comes as an exciting opportunity to be ‘moulded’ into the role. You don’t need previous project management experience but proven ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate and have the ability to communicate at all levels.
Saga Travel Group Technology team are currently undergoing a period of exciting change transformation and you will be involved in supporting and coordinating those projects for the senior team members as well as managing multiple tasks relating to those projects.
This is a 12 month fixed term role, based fully remote!
Main Responsibilities- Supporting Project & Programme Manager with administrative tasks, including:
- Summarising outcomes of meetings with accurate actions and decisions
- Producing high level project plans
- Recording and acknowledging risks
- Chasing action owners for updates
- Producing summary slides
- Analysing data
- Managing diary
- Owning / responsibility for smaller tasks
- Chairing small meetings
- Report and escalate issues
- Build relationships with Change Team and well as communicating change throughout the business
- Previous experience in a coordinator, administrator or junior project management role
- Driven, methodical approach to work
- Passion to have a varied workload with the ability to manage multiple tasks at any one time
- Highly organised and be able to prioritise and plan effectively
- Have the ability to take direction and work autonomously
- Have proven collaboration experience
- Strong Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook expertise
- Friendly, can-do attitude with the ability to be moulded into the role
- Keen eye for presentation and exceptional attention to detail
