About the Role
Working under the leadership of our team of experienced Project Managers, providing key support and assisting them along with Technical Leads to execute and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Providing effective and efficient project specific co-ordination and administration across multiple projects.
The Junior Project Manager will also be responsible for running small to medium projects on their own.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Work alongside the team to ensure the successful delivery of projects, on time and to budget.
- Schedule regular meetings, take minutes and record decisions (e.g. assigned tasks and next steps).
- Setting up project files and folders, supporting with report generation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure resources are ordered in a timely manner to meet project requirements, including materials, equipment and software.
- Track expenses and work with the technical lead/project manager to predict future costs
- Keep Project Control information updated with project spending and task completion status.
- Monitor project progress and highlight potential issues with the project manager/technical lead.
- Measure and report on project performance to the portfolio owner.
- Act as a point of contact for all project participants.
- Monitor project plans, reporting back to project managers, from implementation to completion and closeout.
- Provide timely project updates.
- Follow portfolio management practices.
- Update risk registers.
- Provide input into new company operations process.
- Follow the company quality management processes and procedures.
Skills and experience
- Suitable for a recent graduate or someone entering this area with a proactive track record.
- Forethought, with the capacity to identify and minimise risks.
- Strong organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management
- Proactive to self-manage workload to meet deadlines.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office suite applications
- Excellent interpersonal skills – the role will require communication at all levels within the business, customers and collaborating partners.
- Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
- Commercial experience and awareness would be an advantage.
- Technical background or the ability to understand very technical projects would be an advantage.
