About the role
We are currently seeking a Product Owner to join our global Product Management team embedded in the software branch of the company.
Reporting directly to the Product Manager you will assist him in driving the development of the company’s market leading bank fee analysis software using Agile principles and working within the SCRUM development framework to manage team workload and capacity and driving progress against plans.
In addition to Fortune 500 external customers, internal advisory teams are a key internal client.
- You’ll work closely with teammates across functions like BRM, Data, Engineering, Client Care and Product Marketing to help define and deliver our product roadmap.
- You'll help guide the prioritization of work and help make resourcing and prioritization tradeoffs in service of our customers’ and our company’s goals.
- You’ll ensure clear communication with your team and everyone at the company to continuously improve how you work together and ensure everyone is happy, productive, efficient and operating with our customers and stakeholders’ interests at our core
We are looking for a motivated individual who wants to build or develop an experience in Agile product development and contributes to building high quality SaaS products. We are expecting you to grow into owning an area of the product suite and become the go-to expert on it. You have a structured, problem solving, curious and forward-thinking mindset and the ability to embody Redbridge’s core values – Caring, Committed, Independent.
Key responsibilities
- Define product requirements and decompose concept features into workable user stories
- Ensure that the backlog is clear and reflective of the team priorities in collaboration with the Engineering Managers and Product Managers
- Write user stories to be refined with engineering and made ready for development
- Run functional refinement sessions with Engineering to ensure stories are actionable
- Ensure that stories and features delivered meet acceptance criteria (Quality Assurance)
- Collaborate with Product Managers and other stakeholders to develop the product vision and define the feature priorities
- Document and communicate new features of the product to showcase to external and internal customers
- Run release planning with Engineering to ensure releases are aligned with Product Strategy
- Driving Redbridge’s agile practices and embedding processes within the team whilst maintaining morale and dedication
- Reporting progress and plans to Redbridge leadership teams.
