We have a vacancy for a Junior Product Manager to join our dynamic, fast paced and exciting Foodservice team, based in Arla’s UK Head Office in Leeds.


Key responsibilities:

Your overall responsibility will be to manage, develop and optimise our foodservice product assortment portfolio to support growth within our customers and of the Arla Pro brand.

  • As Junior Product Manager, you will be the primary point of contact with manufacturing sites.
  • You will disseminate briefs from sales and marketing to find concept, product and packaging solutions that add value to our customers whilst minimising complexity.
  • You will play a key role in ensuring that we get the right product at the right cost and at the right time.
  • You will be a vital knowledge resource as well as a conduit between local and global Product Management teams, Marketing and Sales.
  • You will also lead or participate in projects to develop and grow our innovation capabilities.

Strong In Product And Project Management

Your background has given you a sound business understanding and experience with product management and project management within FMCG.

  • In the search for continuous improvement, you have a curious, structured and proactive mind-set, and you use your sensing skills to navigate within a large matrix organisation.
  • You display attention to detail and a structured approach to your work, and you thrive working with many tasks – planned and unplanned - at the same time.
  • Besides having thorough insight into Arla Foods’ systems and processes for handling marketing of products and brand, you also have a good value chain understanding.
  • Experience with SAP is a clear advantage.
  • Lastly, you are engaged, positive and service-minded.

UK Foodservice accounts for 13% of Arla UK revenue and 16% of profit. In the past five years we have grown exponentially – achieving 19% CAGR. We have over 100 customers across convenience, wholesale and national accounts – including well known high street brands like Starbucks, McDonald’s, Dominos and Pizza Express and sell all categories and all brands within Arla.
