As a Product Designer at Speechmatics, you'll be at the forefront of revolutionising how AI-driven features come to life. You will be the creative visionary, the architect of user experiences, and a key player behind our mission to make the developer experience the best in class. What you'll be doing:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and researchers, to design and deliver innovative products that meet the needs of our users.
- Conduct research such as user interviews, accessibility testing, a/b testing and usability testing to learn and iterate on designs.
- Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and patterns to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
- Come up with new design patterns for the emerging AI space.
- Producing demos to highlight the capabilities of new features
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to communicate design concepts and user flows.
- Work closely with developers to ensure that designs are optimised for different devices, platforms and users.
- Work closely with teams to facilitate a data driven approach incorporating user feedback, analytics and testing into design sprints.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design and share knowledge with the team.
Who we are looking for:
- Mid-Level experience in product design, with a strong focus on UX design.
- Interest in AI and in particular Speech related UX.
- Strong understanding of UX design principles.
- Some experience with interaction design and visual design.
- Experience with modern design tools, such as Figma, for design and prototyping.
- Experience with user research methodologies and analysis.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
- Enthusiasm for data driven design and forming design processes around that.
