Role
Looking for a growing PR and content executive to join an ever growing team with hands on experience. Working in collaboration with senior managers across a range of clients, assisting on fun social media campaigns! A role that combines creativitity and logical thinking to create social strategies.
As a Junior PR & Content Executive, you will be drafting long and short form copy to reach both professional and consumer audiences, such as social media campaigns, blog, articles, press releases, web copy and presentations for clients from a variety of industries. You will also be pitching stories to the press, pulling together media lists and keeping your eye out for reactive and proactive opportunities
To be an ideal candidate, you should be able to understand complex briefs, both verbal and written, and apply your skills to transform any campaign into an engaging and exciting reality. You will be a key member of the team and we, of course, expect you to have excellent spelling and grammar with a keen eye for detail and an understanding of good storytelling.
Content Writing
· Research, plan and create written content across various digital platforms, including: blogs, press releases, media alerts, organic and paid social media content, website copy, newsletters, email campaigns, presentations and white-papers.
· Ensure the tone and key messages match each client’s brand
· Proof and edit all writing to a high standard
· Proactively use search, social tools and trends data to identify new content opportunities
PR
· Support the PR team to develop, plan and execute PR strategies and campaigns for clients
· Compile target media lists via database software Cision
· Draft and pitch press releases and media alerts to secure coverage
· Draft client statements and comments to press
· Arrange press and influencer visits / reviews
· Track and monitoring coverage
Key Roles & Responsibilities
· 1-2 years in content, marketing or PR role
· Experience pitching stories to media and landing coverage
· A first-class writer with explicit attention to detail
· Excellent interpersonal skills with team members and clients
· Willingness to up-skill and help other team members where possible
· Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Critical reading and thinking skills
· Can work both in a team and individually
· A positive can-do attitude and great teamwork
· A penchant for agency life and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· And, a brain full of ideas!
Required Experience & Skills
· Experience managing social media channels across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
· Experience in creating content for TikTok and managing output.
· Knowledge of scheduling and reporting software like Hootsuite, Later or SproutSocial
· Ability to analyse social stats via social media reporting tools
· Experience setting up and monitoring paid media is desired, but not essential
· Experience working with influencers.
· A brain bursting with ideas!

Salary: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
