Full Time - Junior Photography/Marketing Assistant

Job Summary
The Junior Photography/Marketing Assistant role works within the Marketing and Photography Departments to provide both administrative and photographic support to both teams.

As a junior role, training will be given but the following skills are essential:
- A-level photography
- A confident user of Photoshop
- A creative person who has an interest in interiors and homeware
- A Team Player with a proactive approach to work and is happy to muck in and get their hands dirty.
Key Responsibilities:
Photography:
- Shoot Preparation – As direct prepare both the product and the studio for shoots.
- Shoots – support and assist on all shoots.
- Maintain studio décor eg painting, filling holes etc
- Maintain general tidiness of the studio together with the organisation and storage of props
- Cut-Outs - Ensure that there are cutout images and dimension images for all new products.
- Image Bank – ensure that the image bank is organised and filed correctly.
- Ensure that the correct images are uploaded to the website including flipper image and dimension images.
- Ensure that High Resolution images are filed correctly in the press folders and uploaded to Press Loft.
- Gather and resize images ready for blog posts.
- Gather images for in-house newsletter.
- General ad hoc tasks to support the Photography team when required.
Marketing:
- Gathering image assets for newsletter briefs / marketing campaigns.
- SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) administrative tasks e.g., alt texts / shortening h1s / resizing images
- Assist with customer generated content through Cevoid – Request permission for UCG posts on a weekly basis and tag products so that the items appear on relevant product pages.
- Weekly audit of website to make sure that images are up to date / info is correct etc.
- Christmas press / influencer gifting – assist Press Executive and Social Media Officer with wrapping and sending out gifts.
- Organise competition winners' gifts.
- Assist with visual merchandising on the website.
- Assist with general ad hoc tasks to support the Marketing team when required.
- Pinterest. Pin new products to relevant boards on a weekly basis. Create boards for latest trends.
- Assist with general ad hoc tasks to support the Marketing team when required.
We are looking for…
Experience
- Experience in a Graphic Design role or similar
- Excellent skills in all Adobe Suite programmes
- Digital Design Experience
- E Commerce Design Experience (advantageous but not necessary)
- Product Design Experience (advantageous but not necessary)
Skills
- The role works alongside two departments and therefore requires strong time management and communication skills.
- Team Player who is happy to collaborate across departments.
- A proactive approach to work
- Ability to self-manage workload
- Creative ability to think outside the box
