We are seeking an individual to join our team here in Wednesfield and begin a career in mobile phone repairs. We are not looking for experience, but we are looking for the right person, who has the right attitude, the right interest, and just fits in!
We are looking for a candidate who is willing to learn with guidance and support, but also able to work independently when necessary.
The correct attitude is the most important factor, and applicants who want hand-holding and full direction need not apply.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in mobile phones, tablets, and other handheld devices.
- Repair or replace damaged components, including screens, batteries, charging ports, cameras, speakers, and buttons.
- Perform software updates, firmware installations, and data backups.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality checks after repairs to ensure optimal device performance.
- Provide accurate and detailed estimates of repair costs and turnaround times to customers.
- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and ensure their availability.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest mobile phone models, technologies, and repair techniques.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Document all repairs, including parts used, diagnostic results, and customer interactions.
- Adhere to established repair and safety procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements:
- No prior experience required, but an interest in mobile phones and technology is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail

- Able to work alone and make informed choices.
- Able to follow instructions and work as a team.
- Comfortable and happy to self-learn.
