Job description
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Junior Operational Manager to join our Clinical Support and Cancer Service Business Unit. The successful post holder will be based at North Tyneside Hospital and will provide support to the senior team particularly within Cancer Performance and improvement.
The successful post holder will provide support for maintaining and improving cancer performance and working with internal and external stakeholders as well as clinical leads and managers across the organisation. You will support the senior team with a number of change processes involving specific areas of data collection with analysis to produce business cases and presentations.
The successful post holder will need to communicate at all levels both internally and externally to ensure both local and national targets are delivered. You will need to be able to agree and monitor developments using metrics and KPIs
This post is key to ensuring that the organisation embrace changes to attain cancer performance and ensure patients referred and provided with exceptional service.
To provide leadership support to the general manager and senior team in the Clinical support and cancer service business unit with the development of local and national initiatives.
To actively support the senior team in the clinical support and cancer services business unit and contribute to the development of the business unit strategy and objective setting.
To support the achievement of objectives within both the trust and business unit
To support the General Manager in the delivery of services so as to meet the performance targets for the trust
To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust.
