The Role

Are you an enthusiastic, confident character with exceptional customer service skills and are looking to build a career in IT? or are you already working within the IT field and looking for a new challenge? If this sounds like you, then we’d love to hear from you!


Working within the Network Operations team you will be integral to the growth and development of the company’s network by supporting our customers within the Support Team.


As part of your role, you will be dealing with customer issues, configuration of devices to be sent out to customers and providing out of hours, on call support.


The successful candidate will need to be proactive and enjoy working independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
  • Configuration of Routers, Analogue Telephone Adapters, Switches, and other network equipment
  • Maintain and update network systems & documentation
  • Promote network security best practices
  • Liaise with other departments maintaining customer support
  • Working as part of a support team speaking with customers and engineers to resolve issues
  • Trouble ticket/Customer case management

Requirements

  • Strong customer support skills and good telephone manner
  • Previous experience of working in a direct customer facing environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Desire to progress in a technical role

Ideal but not essential for the role:

Salary:
£22,000 - £26,000 DOE

Hours: 40 hours per week

Role Type: Full Time/Permanent

Location: Hybrid / Office based near Blandford Forum, Dorset (3+ days office based)

Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
