Karolo is a small but highly ambitious design agency based in Cardiff City Centre. Working with clients across a wide range of industries, our team of designers and developers work closely together to produce websites and brands of the highest quality. From selling cheese and instruments to promoting rally cars, famous gin brands, government initiatives, solicitors and glampsites – our clients vary in size and location, and all pose their own unique challenges.
The opportunity
We’re looking for a full-time junior/middleweight graphic designer to become an integral part of our team, providing creative design solutions to our growing client base.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be working closely with the creative team, initially providing support on projects spanning branding, printed literature and website design (design not development). As you settle into the team, your responsibilities will increase – you’ll take project briefs from our creative director, generating ideas and designing projects from start to finish.
You’ll be able to
- Illustrate your creativity via a varied portfolio of work
- Work fluently across Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Communicate effectively and confidently with team members and clients
- Manage your own time with the ability to prioritise tasks, deal with conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines.
- Be proactive, positive, motivated and enthusiastic
- Take pride in your work and maintain our high standards
Experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within the graphic design/web industry. The right attitude, a proactive approach and the ability to deliver creative design solutions on time is crucial to this role.
Location
Cardiff – we are looking for someone to work within our studio environment.

- £23k-£26k dependent on experience
