Job description
We are a vibrant and dynamic international exhibitions and conference organiser based in central Brighton, now part of a group with offices also in London and all over the world. Our portfolio of technology focused annual events taking place in the US and Germany and spanning a range of industries. We are looking for a junior/Mid level Graphic designer to join our creative team on a full time, permanent contract. Reporting to the Art Director, it is an excellent opportunity to design on a wide range of projects across multiple brands and industries.
Working within the Creative team, you would work on a range of in-house design projects, a mix of digital and print, as well as video/motion graphics. You would also work alongside the marketing and Tech teams helping to maintain and improve our websites, optimising the UI/UX and creating any assets used on the sites.
The position would suit a graphic designer ideally with 2-3yrs hands-on design/artworking experience. The candidate should have excellent technical skills, be passionate and enthusiastic about design, have excellent attention to detail, and of course is a team player. The right candidate will be calm working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Requirements:
Adobe Creative Suite - Primarily Adobe Indesign & Photoshop
Methodical with an eye for detail
Excellent technical ability and willingness to learn new skills
Experience working to deadlines and managing projects
Desirable but not essential:
Experience working with Video or motion graphics
Knowledge of website UI/UX and layout
Photography/SLR experience
