We're on the hunt for Junior Marketing Executives!

You will be in charge of driving revenue and growth by selling delegate passes as you support the Marketing Director to achieve ambitious goals. Full training given.
This is a fantastic role for someone wishing to make a massive impact in a growing company. As a marketer at GIC, you will play an extremely important role in the company.
- Selling delegate passes. You will need to be comfortable with speaking to people on the telephone.
- Building and extracting maximum value from databases.
- Writing compelling and irresistible copy and marketing campaigns.
- Website creation and management, with SEO best practices and performance monitoring.
- In charge of your own multi-channel marketing campaigns and performance analysis (email, SEO, social, direct, media partnerships etc).
- Source and build relationships with new media and data partners and set up contra deals.
- Work with sponsors, speakers and partners to promote the conference.
- Managing timelines, deadlines and revenue generation for multiple marketing campaigns cross-sector.
- Inter-departmental collaboration and brainstorming.
- Attending the events live on the day.
You will need to have:
- A professional, calm, courteous and friendly manner
- A commercial mind and determination to succeed
- An excellent eye for detail, experience in proof reading is an advantage
- A pro-active, positive and ‘can do’ attitude
- Proficiency in LinkedIn, Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- An ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Maturity and versatility
- Problem solving, self-motivation and initiative
The successful candidate will have a minimum of a year’s work experience and will also have a strong academic record.
