Job Title: Trainee Logistic Planner

Our dedicated team ensures timely deliveries and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a Junior Logistic Planner to join our busy Traffic Department at our Manchester office. Responsibilities:
- Effectively plan and utilise drivers for deliveries throughout Scotland and England, optimising efficiency and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Plan the daily workload for a large fleet of vehicles, considering factors such as delivery schedules, vehicle availability, and driver availability.
- Handle customer queries and provide assistance via telephone and email, maintaining a high level of professionalism and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with driver's hours and working time directive regulations, as well as related legislation, to maintain legal and ethical standards.
- Plan collections and deliveries according to agreed movement schedules, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Take responsibility for meeting all company health and safety standards, promoting a safe working environment for employees and contractors.
Requirements:
- A graduate's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is required.
- Proven organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively handle customer queries and collaborate with internal teams.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to ensure efficient planning and execution of logistics operations.
- Familiarity with driver's hours and working time directive regulations is preferred.
- Proficiency in using computer software and systems for logistics planning and tracking.
- Must live within a commutable distance to our Manchester office.

Salary: £18,795.70-£22,000.00 per year
