As part of our ambitious growth plans, Netcompany is looking for a Junior Legal Consultant to join us on a permanent basis to provide legal advice and support to the UK entity, working with other members of the Legal team.
Key responsibilities
- Working with the in-house legal team on conducting ad-hoc legal research, reviewing, and drafting simple legal documents
- Assisting the team with team-specific reporting on business service levels
- Tracking contractual compliance and other contractual obligations/requirements
- Primary contact for team-specific legal and business services queries as the embedded team support and liaising with Group and external counsel as needed
- Provide on-going assistance on contract development and compliance issues and putting together contract summaries
- Assisting with regulatory audits
- Triaging and tracking legal requests
- Maintaining contract repositories
- Research regulations to guarantee contracts are updated and in compliance with laws
- Coordinate with clients to guarantee terms of contracts are fulfilled in compliance with the contract terms and regulations
- Strong contract drafting skills, must be comfortable drafting from scratch and working autonomously
- Experience working within the IT sector
- Experience or awareness of UK public contracts and public procurements
- Self-learning, self-motivated, sound commercial
- Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Essentials
- Bachelor’s degree in law
- Candidates must be willing to travel occasionally within the UK
- Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
