JUNIOR JOURNALIST / CONTENT WRITER
Flagship Media Group, a local and highly reputable Multi-Media and Publishing Company are seeking a Junior Journalist who can work across all platforms to join its busy editorial department.
The Role
To source, research and write news stories for a number of websites and meet strict daily deadlines. Sub-editing and proof reading is also required. The successful applicant will be responsible for b2b and news worthy articles from a variety of sources including publications and on-line news feeds. Capable of multi-tasking and working to tight deadlines, in a dynamic environment in which speed and accuracy are essential.
To write informative and engaging content for businesses on a range of subjects and also create excellent, well-structured written content with clear marketing copy.
Essential:
- At least 1 years’ experience in an Journalism role
- Up to date on local news
- Update website content as needed
- Have a good understanding of social media
- NCTJ exams or equivalent required.
- Able to work within a team
- Flexible
Monday – Friday: 9.30am – 5.30pm
Temporary with a view to permanency
