Job description

Here at Soif Studios we are a Photography/Videography and Podcast Studio Hire Company and we're looking for an in-house Studio Photographer to support our fast growing company. Candidates must have relevant experience however training is provided throughout the job and our team are always on hand to give you support. The ideal candidate would ideally have customer service experience as you'd be dealing with customers everyday.

As a fast scaling business, the right candidate will need to be dedicated, familiar with technical terms and able to support our small team and help us grow our business. If you’re a people person who thrives in the creative space and has a willingness to learn then this is the job for you.

Main tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Core duties

  • Prepping the studio/s ready for client arrival
  • Photographing a mix of styles: Portrait shoots, E-commerce, products etc
  • General studio upkeep and tidy up
  • Editing / retouching

Other duties

  • Help out around the studio when not photographing or editing
  • Collaborate with the team to produce marketing material including print, web and video content
  • Calls/emails with potential clients

Job Requirements:

  • Must have experience in photography or have studied it.
  • Experience in videography would be a bonus (Not essential as can be trained)
  • Editing/retouching experience
  • Ideally work experience in customer service role
  • Bonus if you have experience working in a photography studio / for a studio hire or space hire Company
  • Passion for providing the highest level of customer service to new, and existing clients
  • Must be detail oriented, diligent and very well organised
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload, multi-task using effective time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptable to change in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to meet deadlines
  • Ability to take initiative and work calmly under pressure
  • Must be willing to work flexible shifts sometimes weekends as required to oversee bookings
