The primary purpose of the role is to provide end user support to Coloplast employees either face to face, or remotely over Teams or by phone, to restore normal IT service, in compliance with all IT processes and guidelines.
The successful candidate will own and follow through to resolution, cases via the Global IT management tool, ensuring that a professional and timely support service is provided at all times. This will require working as a team to ensure that the workload is balanced, taking ownership for the cases, and escalating to other support levels as and when required.
There will also be an ongoing requirement to support the recruitment of new employees, ensuring all IT equipment, including laptops phones and other devices, are built and configured to the required standards and are issued on time, as well as continuous equipment upgrades for existing employees, and the correct termination processes for departing employees.
The IT Supporter team work closely together to ensure that the standard working hours, Monday Friday, 8am-6pm are covered fully, and the successful candidate will need to play a full role in maintaining this rota.
To be successful in this role, there is a need to take a proactive approach, ensuring a high level of customer service is always provided. The role holder will be extremely service minded, as well as being an excellent team player, providing support and back up to colleagues when required. With well-developed communication skills, and a structured and systematic problem-solving approach, along with a drive to always achieve more, this will be an ideal role for someone looking for their first step into an IT role.
