    We are seeking a driven, motivated and adaptive Junior IT Project Manager to join our team at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines. Working alongside the System Project Managers, you will provide support and assistance for multiple business critical projects, gaining an insight into the planning and delivery techniques used to deliver large scale change and programmes of work.

    In this role you will take responsibility for the planning and delivery of change assigned to our continuous improvement workstream (typically smaller scale changes to existing systems). You will liaise directly with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements to ensure that the change requested will address the underlying business challenge or opportunity, before managing the change through to completion and handover to BAU.

    Based in our Ipswich Head Offices, you will be joining an encouraging, diverse and supportive team who place high value on open communication, creative thinking and continuous self-development. This is a permanent full time position working 35 hours per week. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be flexible in your approach to working hours and have a full UK driving licence.

    Your tasks will include:

    • Providing support and assistance to Project Managers in all aspects of the project life cycle including: Pre-Project, Initiation, Supplier Selection, Design, Testing and Implementation.
    • Managing the planning and delivery of smaller scale changes to existing applications and services both ship and shoreside in line with Fred. Olsen’s project methodology.
    • Liaise with 3rd party vendors to provide ad-hoc support for the reservations system, ensuring the resolution of operational issues is effectively communicated to business stakeholders.
    • Assist with the testing of new applications and processes delivered as part of projects.
