Job title : Junior IT and Operations Manager
Location : Fareham, Hampshire
Do you have a strong hands-on technical background in either IT or IT Security? Are looking for a step up into management? We are looking for someone to take on responsibility of a small team who manage the IT, Security and Customer Service operations for productions systems for our StepNexus business line in the UK.
Main responsibilities:
Providing local leadership to the IT and Customer Service teams: performance management, objective setting, salary adjustment, hiring, appraisal etc.
Management of production systems at the main and disaster recovery sites.
Managing a hands-on team, providing technical back-up as/when required.
Cryptographic Key management; following a strict processes and ensuring that they are documented securely.
What are we looking for?
A strong technical background in either IT or IT Security
Someone who displays the right behaviours to manage or lead a small team. This could be someone who has mentoring or supervisory experience, and is looking for a step into management.
Full UK driving licence
Recognised IT qualification or equivalent experience
Certified as CISSP and/ or Experience with attacking systems to find security weaknesses would be advantageous (not essential)
