We are currently seeking a Junior Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic, high skilled IT Services team at Head Office in Upminster.
In this role, you will be working in a small team of infrastructure engineers, ensuring that the IT systems are supported, implemented, and maintained to the highest standard - you will play a vital role in allowing this company to continue to provide their impeccable services uninterrupted.
This role has a shift pattern element which is working either 7.30am to 4pm or 10.30am to 7pm.

Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the escalation point for the Support Team
- Using ticketing system for internal and external infrastructure support
- Maintain, configure, and develop core infrastructure and network technologies, such as patching, automation, firmware updates, backups, etc
- Maintain core systems for the Uniserve Group
- Making regular visits to the groups branch sites which are situated around the UK
- Being part of an On-Call Rota to support the business out of hours.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- At least 3 years’ experience in an Infrastructure Support role
- In-depth experience of desktop support in a Windows and Citrix environment
- Knowledge of networking, including DNS and DHCP
- Excellent troubleshooting, fault finding and root cause analysis skills
- Knowledge of following technologies Cisco Meraki, Citrix virtual apps and desktops, IGEL Thin Clients, 3CX VoIP systems, N-Central RMM and Ubiquiti WI-FI
- Experience with Microsoft products including Office 365, Azure, MDM and SharePoint would be Advantageous
- Full clean driving licence
- Ability to think clearly under pressure
- Sound decision making capabilities
Desirable
- Cisco Networking experience possibly CCNA or similar
- Citrix and Microsoft Certifications
