This is a hybrid role splitting your week between the Canary Wharf office and home.
The role
You will be part of a team protecting euNetworks Information Security against Information Security threats. You will be working with the Information Security Steering and IT teams, maintaining technical and organisational measurements.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone who has recently completed their training, to join a high performing IT team and develop their career and skills.
What will you be doing?
- Monitor the IT infrastructure for security issues and anomalies.
- Maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS), based on ISO 27001:2013.
- Conduct internal audits.
- Review Information Security relevant projects and analyse associated risks.
- Investigate and treat security incidents.
- Administer the Security Information Event Monitoring system (SIEM).
- Create quarterly report on Information security.
- Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a secure environment.
- Conduct penetration testing.
- Train staff on information security and cyber security.
- Research security enhancements and make recommendations.
- Stay current on information technology trends and security standards.
We'd like you to bring to us.
- Experience in the IT security business/system administration
- Knowledge of and ideally some experience with Ethical Hacking methods
- Ideally CompTIA Network+ certified
- Good communication skills and customer service oriented
- Analytical and creative thinking skills, with development of pragmatic solutions to customer requirements
- Strong time management and ability to work autonomously.
- Good written and spoken English is essential, German language skills are an advantage.
