The Role
Junior In-house Legal Counsel
Uxbridge – £55,000 – £60,000 plus Bonus

What will you do?
- Prepare, review and negotiate a range of commercial contracts and agreements.
- Create and improve precedent documents, policies and procedures, contributing to the growth and success of our business.
- Provide guidance on compliance, governance and regulatory matters including GDPR, Anti Bribery, Modern Slavery, and advertising.
- Provide accurate, effective, and timely legal advice on Commercial Contracts, Landlord and Tenant and Employment matters.
- Provide clear legal analysis of issues and legislation.
- Assisting with general In-House legal enquiries giving you exposure to a variety of exciting and challenging legal issues.
- Work with internal stakeholders in the UK and Ireland on a range of commercial legal matters
What are we looking for…
The role is suitable for somebody already working in-house who would like more autonomy, a higher variety of legal work and exposure to stakeholders, or alternatively a private practice lawyer looking for their first move in house, which will provide great development and exposure, but with fantastic support.
- Qualified Solicitor, NQ – 5 years PQE.
- Experience of general commercial matters.
- Understanding of contractual requirements with a practical approach to drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
- Knowledge of GDPR and data protection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels within an organisation.
